About us:

We are a married couple, living i the northern part of Norway. We are both deeply engaged in photography and graphics as a way of expressing ourselves and a way to communicate with others. We are amateurs, we believe, in the best sense of the  word. We're both passionately involved in the possibilities digital photography and digital darkroomwork gives us, and twenty-four hours a day is often insufficient when the inspiration is strongly present

Eli:

I've always had a strong interest in art and expressions of self via art. Especially visually. Photography and graphics based on photography became my media. Three years in college with special focus on art in different forms gave me a basic introduction to many different tecqniques. This,  in addition to working intensely with shapes and colors, formed the background for the work I do today. In the later years the tensions and different images that are created in the meeting with people and foreign cultures has had a strong effect on me, and these impressions I want to pass on to the spectator.

Hans Joergen:

About 50 years ago I got my first camera, and I've been working with black and white darkroomword almost as long as that. In the last decade the digital darkroom has taken more and more over. Black and white images often mediate a magic of their own, and the digital darkroom opens up for infinite variations, in black and white as well as in color.  Throughout the years i've worked with many different styles and themes, and the tendency now goes ind the direction of abstractions.  To me the final visual result is what matters - not so much the technique used to obtain it
